Why e.p.t.q

e.p.t.q. remains committed to ongoing research and development to ensure the safety of our dermal filler products.
Worrying about pain or side effects while enhancing your beauty and confidence are a thing of the past with e.p.t.q. You can trust in our products.

Safety

E.p.t.q has the lowest modification of hyaluronic acid molecules by BDDE, while still having the sufficient viscoelasticity and duration.

MoD (Modification Degree) is a filler safety verification element. MoD is a modification degree of hyaluronc acid molecules by bound BDDE (fully crosslinked BDDE and pendant BDDE). MoD of e.p.t.q is about 83% lower than that of other monophasic fillers, assuring its safety.
What is MoD?

Fully Reacted BDDE

Pendant BDDE

Deactivated BDDE

01

Many of these kinker molecules, which maybe released during degradation of crosslinked HA, are toxic with irritative or corrosive effects when the surrounding viable tissues are exposed to them.

02

Too high a degree of modification and crosslinking could potentially affect the biocompatibility of the HA hydrogel.

03

These chemical bridges introduce additional chemicals to the natural HA that can potentially cause problem such as immunologic reactions and granulomas.

Quality

e.p.t.q implements 2CM (Two Crosslinking Method) technology which uses both

2CM (2 Crosslinking Method) Technology

2CM Technology is the crosslinking technology of e.p.t.q. To maximise the physical and chemical crosslinking efficiency to minimise the usage of chemical crosslinker (MoD 1% level)

1) Physical Crosslinking

Chemical bonds, such as hydrogen bonds, and/or entanglements of HA chains → natural crosslinking You need optimum condition (pH, temperature, ionic strength condition, hydrogen bonding, charge interactions, etc.) to maximise physical crosslinking

2) Chemical Crosslinking

Using a chemical crosslinker (BDDE) to crosslink the hyaluronic acid molecules. It is the crosslinking technology of e.p.t.q.® to create its viscoelastic properties while securing safety.

Rheological property

The optimised rheological properties of e.p.t.q. ensure the best procedural results.

High Cohesiveness

High cohesiveness in e.p.t.q. is achieved through the internal adhesion forces between its units. This cohesiveness relies on the concentration of HA and the crosslinking technique, enabling effective tissue lifting (volumizing effect). The ‘tack test’ confirms e.p.t.q. ‘s outstanding cohesiveness, ensuring it has a strong lifting capacity and can maintain the desired shape.

High Viscosity and Cohesiveness
